You’re Not Imagining It. Your Body Is Changing.
Cristina created Profectus after seeing a gap in the fitness industry.
Too many women were being given the same advice: work harder, eat less, and push through.
But the women she was working with needed something different.
They needed someone who understood that getting stronger in midlife isn't about doing more just for the sake of doing more. It's about knowing what your body needs, training with intention, and building the strength and fitness that help you live the life you want.
That became the foundation of Profectus.
Today, Profectus is a place where women can learn how to train with confidence, build real strength, move well, and take care of their bodies—without feeling like they have to figure it all out on their own.
We believe strength gives you options.
The option to travel without worrying about whether your body can keep up.
To get down on the floor and get back up easily.
To hike, play with your grandchildren, carry your luggage, lift your groceries, or simply move through your day with confidence.
We believe fitness should support your life—not take it over.
And we believe you shouldn't have to chase every new workout or fitness trend to feel good in your body.
You need a thoughtful approach, a coach who listens, and a plan that makes sense for you.
That's what we're here to provide.
Meet Cristina
Founder & Head Coach
Hi, I'm Cristina.
I'm the founder of Profectus Health & Fitness and I'm passionate about helping women become stronger, more capable, and more confident in their bodies—especially through the changes that come with midlife.
After years in the health and fitness industry, I became increasingly aware of how little attention was being given to the unique needs of women in this stage of life.
I saw smart, active women struggling with changes in strength, energy, mobility, recovery, and confidence—and often being given advice that didn't address what they were actually experiencing.
I wanted to create something different.
Profectus is my answer to that gap: a place where women are seen as individuals, where training is personalized, and where getting stronger is about much more than what happens during a workout.
It's about helping you feel capable in your body and confident in what you can do.
